Roof Leaks with ducted air

How many folks with a new 2015 with ducted air have had any roof leaks?

We took delivery of New Lucy (2015 FC 25FB) on October 2nd. On one of our runs to Jacksonville we experienced some minor leaking from the two main seams in the living area. This occurred while running on the I-10 at highway speed in a two inch per hour downpour.

The leaks were not severe. Since then Lucy has been several additional torrencial downpours while stationary without any further leakage of any kind.

We plan to take Lucy to Jackson Center in April, and will have them look at Lucy's roof.

Brian

This has been our main concern precluding our purchase of a new Classic; we weren't aware of any actual reports of leaks due to the new ducted A/C.

Brian, could you please describe your leak issues in more detail? We had some leaks in our 25FB but we don't have ducted air and the factory determined our leaks were from a leaking clearance light.

On another note, it seems my thread regarding buying a new Classic has disappeared and I can't find it. Can anyone help out?

Thank you everybody for your help with our future purchase.

I am curious what will happen when the AC units leak. I have seen many threads about leaking AC units caused by various issues. In fact we are having issues with out AC, but the water just drips through the interior plenum onto the floor. Will water leaks at the AC end up in the walls now and possibly be harder to detect?

The Leaks that we experienced in New Lucy were seepage from the seams in the the ceiling. I was disappointed, but it could have been worse.

Our 2012 23FB had no Leaks whatsoever. We had it for less than a year and spent 148 nights in her.

Our 2005 Safari 25FB experienced some leaking over the years. We had her for eight years and spent almost 1,400 nights in her. All of her leaking was from around the windows.
