Rock Gard Lexan Replacement

I am replacing the Lexan in my 2006 Airstream Classic. Has any one done this before? And is it necessary to form the curve or simply just slip the Lexan into the frame?
My Lexan panel has a curve when removed from the frame, but the curve is less (50%) than the curve of the frame. Looking for advice from anyone that has actually completed this task.

There are several threads on the subject. Try the new search function.

Bottom line, it's not hard to do...

I have done it. No forming needed as the 1/8" Lexan bends to shape of the frame. From my hazy memory it will bend to a 10" radius per manufacture info.
While it may not be "hard" to do, it does take some finesse to get it all back together complete. While you have the frame end off and the Lexan slid into place you need to temporarily hold the frame together around the Lexan to keep everything in place, I used parachute cord that I had handy and tied it together midway untill I had everything complete including the rubber cord in the frame.
Good Luck
