Restoration/Renovation shops - east coast

I’m looking for shops in the mid Atlantic region that restore/renovate airstreams/Argosy’s and are capable of doing a full shell off floor replacement and interior redo. I believe Franks Trailer in Baltimore was the last of his kind in this area. I’m also aware of P&S in Ohio. Feel free to post or PM if you are aware of or can recommend a shop in the VA/Md/PA region.

Give DJ Mastin a call. He's near Richmond, VA & a former AS mechanic at the local AS dealer. 804 994 1405

Also curious about DJ. Has anybody gotten in touch or used him?

Any other suggestions for good shell off repairs near Virginia?

We have an extremely low mileage 22' International CCD with floor rot that we have to decide if we will sell as is, repair and sell or repair and finally use it for some road trips. Up till now it's been a "cottage" except for trips to the Airstream dealer near Richmond VA for annual maintenance, winterizing etc. but apparently not for leak monitoring or prevention. We are just now learning about all the problems 2005 CCDs have had and unfortunately have not been vigilent owners and are not DIYers. We thought the Dealer was doing everything that needed to be done. Pretty stupid in hindsight!

Hi, my3sonsdad, could you please share your experience with me about DJ Mastin?

I’m looking for an AS repair shop not too far from DC. Anybody has any recommendations? I just bought a 1962 Globetrotter 19’ and thinking about replace the axels, need a new AC/heater, and replace the fridge that is quite clunky.

I spoke with him but ended up selling mine. He seems very knowledgeable. Recommend contacting him to discuss what you want done.
