RESIST ALL INTERIOR*PROTECTION*WITH 5 YEAR WARRANTy

Hi everyone [emoji112]

I pick up my flying cloud 25FB on Monday. The dealer offered the following warranty:
RESIST ALL INTERIOR*PROTECTION*WITH 5 YEAR WARRANTY. $607.00 plus sales tax

I included a screenshot of the brochure and what the product is supposed to do; but basically it is a sealant that covers the inside and outside interiors.

According to the contract, the "warranty" does not cover "damage from natural causes or normal wear and tear" [emoji848]. Therefore, I think it is less of a "warranty" and more of a protectant that should last for 5 years.

What do y'all think? Is this a waste of money? It feels unnecessary to me, but would appreciate y'all's opinions!

Thank you so much!Click image for larger version

These are good deals for the seller, notoriously bad deals for the consumer. There are exceptions, but not many. This subject was recently discussed. Here is that thread for your reading pleasure.

Agreed a great deal for the seller, and not much more than that - enjoy your new rig and keep the 607 plus tax.

A warranty is a promise to argue about why the warranty doesn't apply any time you need it.

You should ask Airstream if they recommend this, probably not. I worked for GM all my life, dealership aways tried to sell paint, seat, and rust protection. Dealership money grab and not recommended by the manufacturer. Sometimes voided manufacturers warranties.
