In a word, yes. It is not a big deal or huge chore to remove the windows, however. Once the windows are removed, the old gasket can be removed, and new material can be installed—it’s a fairly straightforward process. I cannot imagine replacing the gasket with the window installed. 😳
Removing the windows is dead easy—you just remove the support rods and then hyper-extend the hinge and be ready for the window to come free in your hands. Some people have trouble getting the long front and rear windows rehinged, but the key is to stand up on a platform, and get some help from a buddy if it comes to that.
