Before new install, clean the aluminum track with water dampened rags and then use 90% rubbing alcohol (no residue) to clean possible oils or adhesive compound. New molding is American made product by 3M that measures 5/8" for beltline and 1" for fender level. I have 33' and 96' respectively of the 5/8" and 1" chrome molding. Happy to part with what I have remaining.
Hi Brown Trout, (If you still have molding) care to sell me your excess 1" vinyl chrome molding insert? My 2009 flying cloud 23 has a large continuous section of vinyl insert that came loose last weekend. I noticed all of it's molding is dull and nearing end of life. I have a 1 1/2" lower molding that requires a 1" chrome vinyl insert. It's been hot here in AZ and my molding is coming unglued piece by piece. 60' wraps the entire rig and rock guard's (if I don't goof up anywhere).
