Repair & Restoration Services in Arizona

Looking for airstream restoration services in Arizona or surrounding states.

I hauled my trailer to Arizona for some major restoration/repairs on my gutted 1966 31’ Airstream Sovereign. The person that I had organized things with turned out to be dishonest and not what I had expected.

I would really like to get the important restorations on my airstream underway.(floors, belly pan, Route and install plumbing (holding tanks in frame), gas and electrical provisions, etc)

Any advice would be great.

The trailer is currently parked in the Prescott area but I would be willing to take it wherever I needed to. I will be in the Phoenix area, but flexible.

So in Phoenix there is a small family run business called Retro RV. The rent vintage Airstreams and work on them. I have sent several people that recommendation and they have gotten work done there and been pleased. They have a website that shows some of their work.

We are acquainted with the business and know the owner John because we also own some vintage trailers.

Maybe he can help or refer you further.

Try Denny Durbin at Silver Travelers in downtown Phx. I believe he also is Airstream Hunter on FB and possibly also aviontrailers.com

PS

Earlyeascape who is on this form had some work done on their trailer with Denny so you might reach out to him.

I will try to meet Denny sometime soon and see if he is okay being mentioned here on the forums. As big as Phoenix is there really aren't very many places left to go. We have a beautiful new dealership but they of course are focused on new models and warranty work. Mesa Arizona has tons of RV repair places but they are very very busy with all RVs much less Airstream work.

AZ Airstream restoration and repair

I am currently having my 34' 1986 Excella Restored at RV Renovators in Mesa AZ. They are a family owned business and have excellent craftsman who mostly do insurance work on very expensive coaches. Seeing a lot full of quarter to million dollar coaches next to my "little" airstream is fun. The team love Airstreams and many own older ones they are personaly restoring. Levi is one of those passionate Airstreamers.

You will not be unhappy with thier work.

Airstream Service AZ

We live in the Phoenix area and would love to find a good place within the Valley to get our Airstream serviced. We have not been able to find a place that really knows Airstreams. A friend who has owned Airstreams for decades highly recommends Oasis RV Center in Tucson. https://oasisrv.com/
We have resigned ourselves to taking our trailer there next time it needs major service. Keep us posted as to how you do here in AZ.

We can ditto the great work that Oasis RV does. We bought our rig there when they were still a dealer...they are not a dealer any longer, so they can't do warranty work. The shop is nothing to look at so don't expect a ritzy place...but don't let the setting throw you ... they know Airstreams inside and out. We have had major repairs done there and you cannot tell there was every any damage. They do our general maintenance, too. In fact they are the only ones who have every touched our Bambi. Say Terry & Greg sent you.

Add another vote for Oasis. As Terry said, ignore the first impression. Richard really knows what he's doing. More importantly they are HONEST to a fault.

Renovations for a 73 Sovereign

Hi, I saw this thread and am looking for anyone who can renovate our girl. She is gutted at the moment. We have already called Dennis and Cole Durbin but have been ghosted (they are not calling or emailing back). We need a full renovation, not just repairs and we are in the Phoenix, AZ area. We would be willing to haul her anywhere within 6 hours is they are good and communicative and honest.

Thanks in advance,
Meghan

Oasis has done repairs for me. Richard is very knowledgable, particularly on older units.
