Pearl, as big as we are here in PHX we are lacking in vintage Airstream support. Several businesses have closed in the last 10 years.

Currently RV Renovators (they do all brands) in Mesa is said to do a good job. Not worked with them but seen a couple of their jobs.

Area 63 Productions (Uwe Salwender) in California near Riverside is one of the nearest full Renovators. Excellent work.

Have been to Durbin's in downtown Phx and they were very receptive when I walked in versus calling. Saw lots of nice work there.

If you need axels, tongue or towing things Cherokee Trailer Repair (Mike) in Scottsdale is excellent.

I can't help on the work but might be able to help on cost. I live in Queen Creek, AZ and I recently replaced the master bedroom bed in my 2004 31' with an adjustable hospital bed. Am offering the OEM bed for free (it is in such great shape I can't bring myself to throw it away but it takes up a lot of space in the shed)

Hey, jumping on this old thread to let folks know we’re out here. We’ve been restoring vintage Airstreams in Kingman, AZ (NW Mohave county), for 3 years. Before that we were up in northern Utah. We’re a small operation but do top quality work and are generally pretty quick. We specialize in 1964 and older (door-within-a-door models). But can do anything Airstream. We have a new 5,000 sq.ft shop, and plenty of room around it. Our current shell-off full-Monty turnaround is about 6 months. Hopefully we can of service to Airstreamers on this forum, we’re uniquely situated between Las Vegas and Phoenix, making us a reasonable destination for most in the tri-state area. We have customers from Phoenix and Tucson, etc.
