Removing twin beds, install desk and 3/4 bed

Hello everyone --

I am a fan of yours from Cape Cod who is going to purchase an Airstream in 2014. Your advice and opinions are PRICELESS - thank you! I love the Forum.

New question.....

My favorite model is the 27ft Flying Cloud (or Serenity). Since I plan on spending lots of time enjoying my Airstream, I will need a desk. To that end, a friend of mind says it shouldn't be a big deal to reconfigure the bedroom into to one that includes a 3/4 bed (custom mattress) and a desk. She happens to be an architect who has experience in reconfiguring sailboats (makes me seasick ...hence the Airstream). Given the talent and expertise within the Forum, I am curious what you think about this idea.

BTW, for those of you who will be in Montana next month, take time to attend the Battle of the Little Bighorn in Gary Owen. I think it takes place the weekend of 22-24. Sadly, I will be missing it this year.

All good wishes.
