Refrigerator not cooling on Propane

Hi all!

We have a 2018 Bambi 22FB with typical factory installed Dometic fridge unit. Recently finding that temp stays nice and low when plugged into shore power but not when running on propane. Any ideas on where the problem lies?

Ck the burner flame, should be nice and blue.
I clean the gas orifice yearly with a toothdbrush & Brakleen.
Make sure the flue is clear of 'bug junk' and the spiral baffle is centered properly in the tube.

3:31 in the vid for WTH is a flue baffle?

You need a manometer to check the gas pressure. Fortunately, my trailer came with one plumbed in the gas line before the fridge. Checking gas pressure and adjusting the regulator for me is easy. I have had a poor cooling fridge in the past. I had a good flame, but gas pressure was low. Adjusting the regulator fixed the problem.

Robert is on the right track. The orifice on the gas flame is the usual culprit. The tiniest spider, or fleck of dirt, or bug wing can cause the thing to operate incorrectly. The flame will be anemic, and the fridge will not cool right. Check this before you dig into anything deeper.

Reset all of the circuit breakers; more than likely the GFCI breaker tripped, the flame needs 12v power to ignite the flame

GFCI breaker is on the 120vac circuit(s) and should not have anything to do with 12vdc power.

had the same problem. There are two, yes two, fuses on the back of the refrigerator. One is under a cardboard cover. I replaced both as one was blown and all worked.

Thanks all! Problem resolved with some compressed air blown around the burner and burner box removed. All set
