My rear marker lights are two inches above the window frame. In looking at zip dee documentation, it looks like the lights occupy the space ZD recommends for mounting the awning. Has anyone mounted the awning hardware above the lights?

When Zip-dee mounted rear awning at factory, turned awning rail upside down then mounted between window and lights. lights are visable above rolled up awning as hangs lower this way, does not obstruct window.
We put our awning below the lights, but right side up. We can't open the window all the way with the awning open, but that's ok with us. It will open all the way with the awning closed. Does not interfere with marker lights. Awning works fine.
