Range domestic cu434 oven thermocouple repair

I cannot figure out how to Open the top of the stove to get to the connection point for the thermocouple. It attaches right behind the oven knob. I have disconnected the oven end (not easy either). It is also hard to find a replacement

You have to remove the oven to get to the insides. It’s 6 screws if I remember correctly.
