Hello to all. I am brand new to this forum and this is my first post. I recently acquired a 1978 31'
Sovereign and I am having a grand time restoring her. The prior owners started to gut the kitchen and dining area but had to stop their project because of unforeseen family circumstances. I was able to transfer the title into my name and I am very excited about this whole project!
My Airstream did not come with the Suburban furnace nor the fridge. These two appliances are the only "missing pieces". All plumbing and wiring for these two appliances is still in place.
I live in south Texas and don't need a massive furnace. I am seeking guidance on what size furnace was probably in my Airstream when it was new and what size / make / model I should buy to replace the missing furnace. I am not against looking for a good used Suburban furnace. Same with the fridge. A new fridgfe is not high on my list of priorities right now but I would like to know what size / make / model I should go with for "average" use.
Oh, and I am looking for the raised letter "M" on the rear name plate. I am having a very hard time finding the missing "M"!
