Power - city to battery switch 59 caravanner

I just bought a 58/59 22' caravanner but can't get the city powered lights to come on without blowing breakers. Have a panel on the bedroom wall with 2 switches, the top is a 3 position, bottom 2 position, then a small light. Don't know which controls power from battery or city. Don't have a battery yet but wiring is in and okay. Push Matic Electri-panel box under bed has 2 reset buttons with 20 amp above the top reset. Please, anyone, what is the button sequence to switch from battery to city power? email if you know to alisapete@outlook.com

Update: On my AS the city/battery power switch is located down on the left wall just to the right of the heater. In my first post, power is not a problem anymore but the switches on the wall are still a mystery.
