Parting out 1971 Safari

Hi - I am new to this forum. My wife and I were proud owners of a 1971 23' Safari for 1 week before someone crashed through the fence at the storage facility and smashed into the read end of the camper. The driver's insurance company is going to pay me out but allow me to keep the camper. I do not believe it makes economic sense to repair it so I am going to part it out (repair estimate $9500). The back end and bathroom is worthless but the rest has good parts. Does anyone have any advice how to go about parting this out? What are the popular parts that people generally need?

It looks repairable to me but looks like there is hail damage on a lot of the panels. You could sell some of the appliances if they still work and sell the shell to someone who wants a project. The shorter trailer are more popular. Most trailers this old need a shell off anyway so what is replacing a couple of panels. Craigs list is a good place and there is a classified section on here.

I to would be interested in several parts. This forum has a marketplace where I have purchased several parts. FYI I would also be interested in awning is length is right, also tires/rims, rockguard, and propane tanks if aluminum. I have family in FWB and get to panhandle about every 6-8 weeks.

I am sorry about your Safari, that stinks. If you have ceiling light covers that have a crank (for the vent or fan) and a knob (that turns on the lights) I will buy them. Thanks for letting me know.

PS, Have you thought about selling it to someone that wants a food vending AS? They would not have to cut a huge window in the side. You could still part it out as well.

The door and screen door will be useful to someone and will sell for a fair price.

If they are still available, I'd be interested in the struts that support the front rock Guard.
