Overlander section drawings, advice or help?

Looking for images that include the frame and axel structure of Overlander (66-72?). Aside from curiosity, I'm trying to figure how to assess the condition of 'the stuff underneath' before I agree to buy a particular trailer. Any suggestions are welcome!

Thanks in advance.

Give us a few more particulars. We have, for example, a 73 Overlander with a shop manual and lots of pictures and in the middle of full remodel.. It really matters the year trailer you are looking at. There was a sea change in the way Airstreams were made in the late 60s/early 70s. There are many, many people here who will help you out. Just fill in the blanks a bit.

Here is a scan from a '67 sales brochure. I believe it is Sovereign, but your Overlander is simply a shorter version. If you would like a bigger (956X669 pixel) version, PM me your email.

model year

Thank you both for your helpful replies ... I'll find out the year of the trailer tomorrow and put up a post with the model year after.

I'm expecting to spend the week looking at and discussing the purchase of this trailer, which is in obvious need of restoration

Meanwhile, the image has helped me understand the foundation of the trailer ... thanks again!
