Remove the door. Turn it upside down. You should find the screws holding on the bottom edge. Remove those. Slide out the existing panel. Repeat in reverse to reassemble.
Note: If you don't need refrigerator magnets, a sheet of clear-coated aluminum trimmed to the right size makes an excellent easy-care door panel.

Thanks for your reply. We already removed the door and tried removing the bottom and the top of the frame. neither would budge. It appears that the ends are somehow molded into the foam. I will look at it again.
I just Read your assessment of the rim frame on Perrys thread. I have a 1980 Caravelle
that I am rebuilding and I put 5 outriggers in and a rim around the perimeter. It is still in dry dock so I don't know how it will work. You can take a look in the 1980 Caravelle section.
