Nolox door latch solution

My wife was on a Facebook forum and saw a post about NoLox door lock solution, being sold by Phil Enoch. I wanted to check it out, but can't find anything about it in this forum or in a Google internet search. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Thanks,
Glenn

This may be the kit they are selling at the counter at JC Service Center. If so, it works pretty well and was an easy install.

Not too much to it really, but saves you the trouble of sourcing the miscellaneous bits. The kit covers both the lockout prevention mod and the mod to strengthen the door latch assembly.

I think it was about $29 and took about thirty minutes to do both mods.

Interesting. They don't have anything listed on the Airstream Supply web site.
Thanks for the info.

Perhaps calling the service center and asking for one of the friendly ladies at the counter can yield some contact information for ordering a kit.

We had Colonial install a Nolox on our 23 GT this week at pickup.

So far we've left it closed (i.e. prevents the door lock from locking) and just use the deadbolt.

I bought it because I had the door accidentally lock itself at a campground in New York one time. I spent the better part of 4 hours disassembling the rear bed frame so could crawl into the trailer via the hatch to release the door. Never again.

Phil is a great guy! We had him install the Nolox when we were at the Alumalina rally last year. It works as designed. And the kit includes the hardware to make the inside of the door handle more robust to prevent the handle from breaking.

You will have to contact him at noloxsolutions@gmail.com.

Rich, I am picking up our new trailer @ colonial this week. Did they have the Nolox Kit in stock, or did you have to provide it and they installed it?

Real Estate Lock Box

I have a real estate combo lock box on the hitch frame - with all trailer keys - including hitch lock, etc. And have had the door inadvertently lock twice - so glad I did it.

Same for us. I’ve also done the interior door handle modification and added an interior pull handle to prevent the handle breaking and being locked inside the Airstream.

Tried his email and it came back undeliverable. Anyone know if he’s moved on?

My apologies as I apparently added an unneeded "s" to the email address.

If you contact Phil I believe the door lock kit is under $40. They have it for $60 at woodland.
