New owner, '65 Safari, need restoration references.

I've inherited a '65 Safari which was gutted and restored. It's a beauty, but there are a few minor interior things that need repair as well as the roof leaking, which is the most pressing thing at the moment. I'm looking for someone who can do repairs to this age of a trailer somewhere in BC or possibly Washington. I have zero clue about Airstreams or any trailer for that matter and would greatly appreciate any help of who I could contact. I've had no luck so far. Thanks in advance!

My advice is to try and find the leak. Maybe it is coming from a Vent? or any other possible penetration.
On my '58 Traveler the overhead leak came from the perimeter of the Vent opening. I used Duct Tape only to test the area and used it as a tool. Clean the area around the penetrations and apply some Duct Tape...then wait to see or use a garden hose.
Others may chime in here but this is what I did & it worked for me. Next is what Sealant to use, but first step is to know where the leak is.
I would bet there would be quite a few people in the Washington area that could help with this but I am in So. Cal. so no help here

Airstream Addicts

Congratulations on your new to you trailer. What a great gift.

I'm sure you'll get lots of references from people on this forum. Sometimes you can also get some good help on the fb group Airstream Addicts.
Search for them and ask to join.
