Need opinions on an old Airstream
A neighbor of mine bought what I think is a 52-53 cruiser. He bought it with the intention of camping immediately. Needless to say, it has issues. He has a title that says it is a 47, but it looks like the 52-53 cruiser in the documents section of the Airstream site. It is a complete, (interior intact) unit. It has the original appliances, including working fridge , and what I think are the original mattresses. the interior has been painted, but it is otherwise intact. The bad part is, it has floor issues at the door, around the front window (at a minimum). And 11 of the 13 front panels on the front are bent badly, There are 3 cracked, and 1 missing window, all flat glass. But the frame is there. Otherwise the shell is straight. If I were to tackle this it would be a shell off due to the floor. I am in the middle of restoring a 64 Safari, and would not consider taking on another one (so says the wife). My questions are what would this thing be worth? Would anyone be interested in a project like this? It is located an hour south of Charlotte. What say ya'll.
