Mystery wire

Found this white wire, which looks to have been cut, on the curb side of the AS in the leading edge of the wheel well.

I can pull it out about 4 inches before I get any resistance.

Just took delivery yesterday of the 2018 27FB TB and all has been perfect, everything works.

Any ideas?

No idea here...

Have you tried sending the picture to Airstream service and asking them?

I would hope that they would know.

Does it look like telephone type cable? Several small gage conductors.

Started with my dealer, nothing from them yet. I may open it up a little to see the number and type of conductors later today.

Good idea on AS service too. I will have to look their contact info up. I am sure it’s in the pile of stuff they provided.

Just got AS back from first warranty trip. The wire was determined to be a ground wire which they replaced. They also believe that it may have contributed to blowing the inverter fuse.

Mystery wire

Anyone know how to close a thread once the OP believes it to be concluded? I seem to remember reading that was a thing you could do...

You can PM a moderator, or one might see your post. Most threads just fade away over the horizon, looking in the rear-view mirror IMO.
