Once again I have a mystery part that needs to be identified. I found this buried in the compartment behind the back of the couch. What is it?

I think it to remove the water filter from the kitchen sink Moen faucet. I also have a 06 Safari and the same tool.

Thanks but not the case on my trailer. The Moen 601 filter in my trailer is in the spout. Give the spout a twist and pull. The filter come out with the spout.

My filter is also in the spout, was just guessing due to having the tool in the bottom draw and removed the filter the second year I owned the coach and never replaced it. I use a small carbon filter on the water inlet side on the outside of the AS. But now you've got me wondering what it's for.

I also use an external water filter. I did order and received a Moen 601, but when it arrived the blue end cap had fallen off. I sent it back for a replacement, not yet received. In case you want to order another I got it thru Amazon for $18. At the Airstream store they are $60, full retail.

It is a "wrench" that comes with some models of Moen taps. Got a couple kicking around my shop.

Interesting. What do they "wrench"? Nothing in the Moen install manual that looks like this.

Found it. Moen calls it a "mounting tool". Looks like it comes from underneath for the bottom mounting nut on some models. Mine is not the one pictured in the link.

According to the link I posted it is for the sink faucet assembly. I do not know if it would work for the shower valve also.
