My Fix It List

My 2 year warranty expires in December. I'm dropping the Airstream off at Colonial to get a few items addressed. I thought some of you might be interested in the issues and things to look for on your Airstream.

Bruce

Fresh water tank won't hold water. Starts leaking as soon as you start to fill. Empty in a couple of hours.
Gray tank levels inaccurate. Reads 6 to 13 percent when tank is empty.
Shower door dropped down. Plastic hinge near top split. Screw at top of hinge broke inside frame. Door seal on bottom of door ripped off.
Furnace duct in bedroom stinks. Smells like a dead animal. I tried to blow it out with a leaf blower, but it still stinks.
Rear television case keeps falling apart. Held together with Gorilla tape.
Rear partition door warped. Sticks out at bottom.
Bathroom wall behind front TV not plumb. Bathroom door doesn't close properly. Gap along bottom of door jamb.
Mirrored medicine cabinet door hinges keep loosening. Latch keeps falling off.
Black powder on bath counter at wall. Looks like aluminum dust.
Sometimes bathroom fan sounds like it's struggling.
Shower fan bezel not attached properly. Screw missed the ceiling.
Inside window trim at dinette not flush with wall next to entry door.
Clear plastic protectors on screen door hinge coming off. Scuffing door jamb.
Left lower tail light not working properly.
All 4 tail light bezels are pitted.
Rear awning claw is loose and wobbles.
Safety hook on main awning is loose. Rivet is pulling out.
Seam seal on roof. Looks like something dragged across before dry.
Aluminum outside furnace cover is starting to pit.
All 4 stabilizer pads are rusted.
When going over bumps in road, sounds like I'm running over trash cans under trailer.
Spare tire defect.

The list of things I've fixed myself is even longer.

Thinking of buying a new Int'L Sig 23 (FB) from Colonial. Headed to Hershey RV show to look around. Did Colonial address all of you issues and how happy are you with their service?

Thank you from a guy who lives the next town over.
