My Airstream is peeling!?!

We finally managed to get out this last week and enjoy our home-away-from-home. As I was setting up, my beautiful bride noticed a couple spots just above the Airstream logo on the front passenger side. On closer inspection I discovered they were spots where it looked like a plastic coating was peeling away. Is this the coating we had the dealer spray on the rig when we bought it (April,2018)? Is there a repair for this? Please tell me I don’t have to take it back to the dealer. It just spent a month there getting a new ceiling vent fan...
Thanks in advance for any advice you can give me.

Bob

Welcome aboard...👍

I would ask the dealer, I don't know of any peeling coating, applied by the dealer that AS would warrantee.
If it is the Alcoa applied coating it would be covered.

Photo's would help. Good Luck.

It will need to go back to the dealer. Especially if you have them spray some insanely expensive “super top secret” coating.

Read my latest article on taking your rV back to the dealer. Sorry but you are stuck with this one.
