Monitor Panel

We're new here to the forum and the Airstream world. We just aquired a 1984 31" Sovereign. It's generally in good shape and we've had it out on three different trips so far with no surprises. Anyway, it does need a little TLC and some minor maintenance that we are slowly whittling away on.

One of the items that has me puzzled is that the trailer has a full width monitor panel across the front of the trailer just above the clock and overhead storage. There are a couple of indicator lights (AC and water pump) lights that are not working. Hopefully, it's just a light bulb. The monitor panel seems to be made from plastic. How does the panel pull out from the enclosure it's set into? I'm afraid to pry on it for fear of breaking the panel.

I'm not sure on that model some are screwed in place. I would suggest that you put a service manual on your Christmas list. They are still available for Airstream headquarters or Helen Davis Secretarial Services.
