Joined yesterday. After 12 yrs. we have the time and financial ability to redo a vintage. Looking to see if there is anyone in South Florida (Miami, Ft. Lauderdale & the Keys) that has a vintage that we can see and ask some relevant questions. Thank you for your help. Hello Cathy, I apologize for my delay in responding to your post. So your interested in a 50's restoration project! That's a good choice from a style perspective, since up to about '58 they had the thirteen paneled end caps. The problem though, is that they are getting more difficult to locate than newer (60's and on) units, and fetch a higher price. Anyway, give me a ring, and we'll go from there. Take care...
