looking for a mechanical tote or mule to move a trailer

Hello everyone we are looking for ideas or suggestions on moving a 64 safari into a space unreachable with a conventional tow vechicle
The trailer will be dropped in by a 40 ton crane then must be moved 30 ft to its permanent location
if anyone knows of a piece of equipment that can be rented or loaned or have a clever idea we would like to hear from you
Th surface is packed dirt where the trailer will be placed
It is all happening in Santa Fe NM
Thanks in advance

How big a trailer? Riding lawn mower or small tractor?

I used to use a skidloader to move mine around. They have 4 wheel drive and can be turned on a dime too! Just need a ball attachment for the bucket. Check Northern Tools Catalog for that item, it clamps to the front loader bucket for around $100.00.

I gotta see this.

Send pictures of the move and maneuvering. Sounds interesting.

airport

if the local airport has any twin engine airplanes, they'll have a little nose wheel "tractor" you should be able to rent. but "alto?" nearest airport is probably 400 miles. hmmm. lawn tractor...but only on a hard surface.

4wd club, of course

contact some 4 wheelers-they'll have enough snatch blocks, cables, tow straps, and WINCHES to move the earth...

Especially if you have to lower the mules using that crane. You will probably need several of them, maybe even a "20 mule team"!

The 40 ton crane can't put it where you want it?

Occurred to me too as a possibility. I keep thinking, "Would I want to put an Airstream, or anything else under that."

Anybody remember the movie 633 Squadron?

Must be some kind of overhead obstruction. Really sounds like quite the location.

Somehow, moving an Airstream 30 feet to a permanent location seems a little improper to me. It might be more of a challenge if it has to be moved sideways.
