Led marker light replacement
Can anyone direct me to a video that shows how to remove and install burned out marker lights on a 2016 classic or similar unit?

Technical Support from Airstream sent me an attachment with the procedure to replace them. Can't locate it right now, but they will do it if you call them. I changed one of mine out.

Can you generally describe the procedure? And where did you buy the replacement light?

Airstream Tech Support sent me the light lens as it is in warranty. You can also get them from Airstream Supply, or Silver Trailer Supply, depending upon model year.
I used a putty knife to lift off the led lens. On mine there are two metal clips holding it in place. Start at the pointed end and slowly work your way around. You can pull it up when the clips release. May need to spray silicone lube around the wire as it is snug where it comes though the grommet. I pulled the grommet out and clipped the wire inside the grommet as the spice would not go back through it. You should have about 3 inches of excess wire or more.
After I did this, I decided to purchase the chrome bases that come with Classics, and replaced all three bases on the top rear of the trailer.

here is a little help for a different project but it will help you replace the light and the materials you will need. The photos are pretty good:

Another suggestion - check you local auto parts or Amazon for the marker light. These are a standard product and used on many applications

Geez! Why does Airstream make simply replacing a marker light so dang complicated?

These side markers and rear lights are manufactured by Kaper 11. If you live in the US buy them from any trailer supply shop. If you live in Canada wait until you go to the US to buy them.
The part #s are, Amber light, L04-0013NEW. Red light L04-0012NEW
Rear or tail lights L15-0024R. Chrome bezel for tail light WP-B0042B
Check my numbers online before buying. You will also see the chrome bezel for the markers on line The best price I saw was from a trailer outfit in Bend Oregon

My part numbers are off a bit. Go to Bend Trailer in Oregon.
