Leather cushions

We have been puttering inside our new Flying Cloud 27 trying to figure out where to put this and that and basically just spending time and trying to acclimate Max the Dog and Louis the Cat. Our buffet and couch cushions are very soft and confortable. But we keep sliding off of them! After a minute you find yourself just sliding toward the floor. Any suggestions on what to do? This just wont work.

Slip covers?

I have noticed the same thing with our Ultra-leather. Equestrians use Sekur-Grip on saddles, so this might work, but I haven't tried it myself yet.

Follow up: I contacted Sekur-Grip and received this reply "...it works on any surface where slipping is a problem. It works in many sports, dogs paws, banjo and drums etc.

You use it sparingly at places that slip then increase it as needed."

Would love slip covers to help put our personal touch on also but I fear the cost.

Part of the problem is that "ultra-leather" is really a vinyl product.

We haven't noticed a slippage problem but have noted that the foam is not very thick or comfortable if you are sitting for a while. We are thinking of replacing it with a more commercial grade.

Airstream has finally addressed this problem. Our new 2017 26U has memory foam for better comfort and new fabric called Dwell Ultrafabrics. No more slip.
