Leaking thru the fridge vent

76 Argosy, noticed under moderate to heavy rains I get water through the refrigerator roof vent everything seems to be sealed up on the roof well any ideas?

I have the same thing on my 66 caravel I climbed up and put some silicone all- around the edges of the vent after installing a new vent roof. But.. I noticed that if the rain is coming sideways then the water still gets in through the pipe opening. I guess that's why they put it on the side for future models

Yea, I think mine is 'splashing' up in heavy rains (as we get here in Ga). I have thought about putting some screen material on the top opening of the vent cover (outside) to help control this.
