If you have a cool $50,000 you could buy a 20% share in one of these.

Robert, the prior post referenced a $50K price tag for a 20% share. It sounded like either a leg pull or a misplaced promotion. Cool tech is fantastic. Insane cost for same is a Buzzkill, like many 4/1 stories. Pat

You're free to do your own research, and post the results here. Otherwise you're just guessing.

Guessing - No! Just responding to a post that suggests the cost might be $250,000. Don't know what the technology will cost in mass production for the open market, but a significant hurdle for many businesses will be OSHA regulations that require a qualified laser officer to audit use, maintain records, and provide the training to mitigate the hazards of a hand held 1000 watt laser device. While the DIY vintage AS restorer might be exempt from regulation, the hazards associated with a 1000 watt device still might be a consideration while writing the check for a rental or outright purchase.

Hope the folks who are developing the tech are successful. There are a lot of bridges that need rust removal. But, on that, I'm just guessing, because they may need replacing. Pat

Actually the technology is not new and they are not the first vendor in the market.
And $250,000 is lowball and for a lower power system.

Only Vampire can use these... Can't be around mirrors.. It is cool/hot, however you view it. Seemed there were inconsistency in the "removal" of paint/rust. This might be good for one of those 1 hour repaint places.... Drive Thru, remove paint, next step spray paint and collect money...or was that collect money part supposed to be first?

Having done sandblasting, there is a lot of moisture that can be mixed and sprayed on the surface... This just vaporizes and sucks it up.. The sound is much like Cyclops
