Kitchen hardware - under-sink doors
There is usually a swaged part of the brass rim around where the ball fell out. Looks like it was marginal and wore enough to let the bell fall out. There should be a spring inside the hole the ball came out of.
I’d try putting the ball back in with a piece of wood or something to hold it in, put that end’s tab in a sturdy vice and use a small pointed punch to ‘upset’ the brass all around where the ball sits. That may tighten it up well enough to use. Failing that, buy a new part...
