Just Bought Our Terrestrial Sailboat!

YAY! We purchased our 1972 Land Yacht Sovereign!
I decided to post this here because I have a BUNCH of questions!

1.) Anybody know off the top of their head the size or parts number for the grease seals on the (assuming stock) axles? We plan on re-packing them before we drive home and I'd like to arrive with fresh seals in hand. Dunno how to get exact size being 300 miles away without putting the PO through a bunch of hassle. The tires are on what look to be orignal 15inch rims.

2.) Priority #1 after getting it home is to stop all the leaks. I'm thinking all fresh weatherstripping and sealing questionable areas. Is there an all purpose weatherstripping you guys cut to size or do I need to buy reproduction stuff. Where is in your opinion the best place to shop? (I'm in Kerrville TX for physical location reference) I'll search threads on sealants after this but feel free to chime in here with your opinion of what is the best.

Give the folks at Inland RV a call. They can guide you in the right direction for seals and gaskets. Also Vintage Trailer supply does have gaskets as well...not sure about the seals.
