Is this fun or what!

Hey to all.
My wife an I are retiring in a yr. we decided we wanted to buy a camper and visit the places we love or are yet to fall in love with. Here is the first problem, we have never had or pulled a camper. We didn’t want a new camper, we wanted a vintage camper, not any vintage, but an 1979 argosy 7.3 so we could redo it before we retired. That was the second problem. We purchased a 2019 F150. To tow it with. That maybe problem number three. Will not know until we get our trailer back together.
That being said, we purchased it about a yr ago, pulled it to New Mexico, and had a great time, just us and the dogs. So after design and thought we pulled out the inside and removed the inside skin. Getting ready for the removal of the floor now. That is our story and we have questions we hope some of you can help with. Especially is anyone working on an argosy like ours?

A ton of people can help here. You may want to go into your specific model thread to maximize responses. The general thread here may get one of two bites though.

Once you have questions then fire away. Best of luck.

Welcome Aboard...👍

It's fairly common for the 'or what' to come before the real fun starts...don't worry, be happy.😀

To get you started, and a idea of the full extent of what might lie ahead, use the search function and skim through a few of the many, many threads about:

"Full monty"

"Shell off"

"Rebuild"

These are threads started by fellow owners that have taken an Airstream/Argosy (they are basically the same, differences in some material and appointments, but otherwise built in the same manner) and redone them from the frame up.
