Inverter fan running

I went over to check on our new 30 ft Classic which is in our storage yard not plugged in to shore power. When I went inside I heard a fan running. I identified the source as the inverter. The main control panel shows the inverter status is off. I assume the fan is running to cool the unit as it is very hot today. Is this normal?

Hi

It's not normal on a 2017. It sounds a lot like the unit is actually turned on, regardless of what the control panel thinks.

Thanks Bob. Its tucked way in the back of the compartment in such a way that I can't see the front of the device which is where the indicator lights are located. I saw one amber light but can't tell what that means. Guess I'll have to get out the handy owners manual and do some digging.

Hi

This is one of those places that an "inspection camera" might come in useful. They are pretty cheap these days. Completely random pick that I know absolutely nothing about:

as an example of what's out there.
