Interior partition corner joint failure - repair?

I have a 2005 25' Safari that has the corner joint (where two bathroom walls join) separating. There is a piece of Oak at the corner; then the 1/4" wall panels that should be fastened to the Oak. Has anyone else had this happen? If so, how did you make permanent repairs? I tried a brad nailer, but this was not successful. I have not yet attempted to take the entire wall apart - doing research before tackling that.

Thanks.

Another attempt at posting a picture of problem area

If the attached photo appears, the problem of the wall/joint failure at the corner is easily visible. I'm requesting information on the correct method for making a permanent repair. Thanks.

I have the same problem. I moved from SoCal to North Las Vegas where the air is real dry. I have to admit that I had the problem the first year in CA. I bought it new. Took it in under warrenty for repairs and all they did was "tack" it back together. Another airstreamer (bobsunlee) had the same problem too with his 2005.

I talked to him and he screwed his in . I`m using "Liquid Nails for Paneling" and screws. Hoping this will work. IF not, then I`ll attempt straping the corners.

Thanks for your response.

I finally used a construction adhesive and 23g brads in May. I'd tried 18g brads the first effort - they didn't hold. Between the adhesive and brads, the joint appears to be holding - this after a 6,000 mile trip this summer.

Good luck with your repairs.
