Insulating paint and stainless steel coating???

Hi all,

While surfing around I found this website that has a few items that may be very useful to someone doing a restoration. The first product I thought was interesting was a insulation that is painted on. It helps reduce heat conduction, making me think it would be a interesting to test this on the ribs at the least, and maybe even coat the entire interior skin. I would love to know if anyone has any opinions on this.

The other item is the stainless steel coating that you just paint on. I am not sure what I would paint, but it seems there could be some things in an airstream that it could be used on, and it wonder if there is something similar with aluminum? Any thought?

There seems to be many interesting products on this web site that I am going to continue exploring!

Thumbs up

Chlyman,

Can't comment on the insulation, but I have used this to help hide the filiform corrosion.
