Hydraulic Jack and Stands, what is right size.

Does anyone have a guideline in the size of jack stands and hydraulic jacks that are safe to use based on weight of the trailer.

Should the jack be capable of lifting the entire weight of the trailer or less, since the jack will not be lifting the entire trailer weight.

Specifically, I have a 23D, 4500 lb dry, 6000lb fully loaded.

I have a 2.25 ton jack and jack stands, 4500lb capability.

Can I lift the trailer of both axels safely with these? Or do I need beefier stands and jack?

Please no responses on using a ramp etc, I need to left all 4 tires off the ground to do a lift.

My plan would be to lift one side and place a jack stand. Then lift the other side, and place the other jack stand.

Thanks in advance....
