How to seal seams and rivets

I have searched but have not found a comprehensive post about how to seal seams and rivets while the interior skin is off

I am also looking to see if there are any post about renovating a 48 Spartan Manor, I am thinking about buying one.

Thanks

John

Not sure a comprehensive post is needed.

Get a bunch of tubes of Trempro 635

The skins are off, so cover all seams and rivets. use a gloved finger or tool to smooth out.

I tried a different sealant from Lowes and it had a high odor, had to peel it all off and go with the Trempro.

I also covered the rib to skin seams.

also about the 48 Spartan Manor
If you find a post here about that, it will just be luck since this is an Airstream site. But most here love all campers.

But might have better luck on Tin Can Tourist site

Might try looking for Flyte Camp in Bend, OR. The Scribner's have restored a couple of them for their TV show. Reach out to them, they seem like the type of folks that will share their knowledge.

The current method used to seal at the factory is Adseal on the roof and seal tape on all the panel edges. I don't think they use any sealant inside any more. Also that makes it a lot easier to replace damaged panels not having to cut around the old seal that is difficult to separate. If you need a panel on a late model trailer they dial in the VIN in their computer and the computer cutting and drilling machine manufactures it for you.
