How to fit a folded Leg-o-Matic chair

I managed to get a hold of a Leg-o-Matic chair and I'm trying to figure out how to fit it under the folded table. When I drop (fold down) the table to the side wall in front of the gaucho, there is a gap between the table top and the wall, but it is not quite deep enough for the folded chair to fit into. I did notice that the gap is slightly more near the top, so does that mean I need to make some kind of a shelf to perch the folded table onto in order to fold down the table with the chair under it.

The leg-o-matics were designed for somewhat older Airstreams. They do fit behind the folded up tables in early 1980's and prior models.
In order to use them in your 1987, you will have to get creative.

Thanks, overlander. They are still a lot more compact and more comfortable than a standard bridge chair.

I'll see if by making some form of shelf and having a strap secure the chair it will stow reasonably well.
