I used less than one tube of Vulkum on the roof fixtures. For areas visible from the ground, I used silver Parabond in a squeeze tube. A little goes a long way. I used less than two tubes. I found I could get good results by putting on a tiny bead and then using a cotton cloth soaked in mineral spirits and a fingertip to push it into the seam while wiping off the excess.
