How do i rivet top of front and rear window frame

Putting back in the window frame on my 69 ambassador.
Buck riveting.
I cannot get the rivet gun flat at the top of the frame due to the lip of the window "hinge"
What do i need to do?

I could use olympics but would have to hand shave since the shave tool will not fit either.

Grind a recess in your tool to clear the rail.

Search online for "Double offset rivet set" such as here https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catal...All%20Products

You may need to look around a bit until you find just what you need. The above is only an example and not the only place to find such tools.

With a Dremel and a little time you can shave the heads of Olympics to closely match bucked rivets. Might practice on a couple before you try it on the trailer. I did several dozen when I redid my 68 because I could not justify the cost of a rivet shaver for just a few rivets.

As said above, grind a notch in the rivet set. I have rivet sets with all kinds of modifications done to them, it will not effect the performance of the set.
