Help: Refrigerator Service Vent Leaking

Hi Everyone!

We're having a problem with a leaking refrigerator service vent on our 1980 Caravelle. I'm pretty sure it is getting in through at the top of the vent, as there is about a 1/4 inch gap there. Less likely, it might be bouncing in from the vent holes themselves..

But I just wanted to ask the question..

Is there some kind of seal or sealant that is meant to go around the edge of the vent, or is there an inner cover on the vent door that we are missing?

What would be the recommendation to seal this problem?
