Heat pump not working
We dropped down to freezing temps last night, so we ran the furnace on our 2108 Serenity 28. We have been running the heat pump for temps above 45degrees. We are on 50amp shore power. We woke up to the sound of the converter fan running. The grey solar panel gauge shows zero. When I press the button, it doesn’t move anything on the panel. For example, I can’t move to see the percentage left. The battery button on the black gauge above shows that we have battery power. We’ve also noticed that our heat pump will not come on this morning. It lets us select heat pump, but nothing happens. Could these two problems be related? The heat pump doesn’t run on battery , so I’m confused. Everything else seems to be working on shore power. The surge protector shows that we are getting power. It seems odd that the solar panel gauge isn’t working, the converter fan is going crazy, and the heat pump stopped working at the same time. How are these two things related? I would appreciate any help.
