Goodyear Endurance prices?

Are they going for a premium now because of supply issue? Dealer quoting me $270 a tire for the 225/75R15.

I just looked at Etrailer and it’s 167.00 for Goodyear Endurance ST225/75r15 E rating and free shipping. That still sounds high.

My local Discount tire just quoted me $145/tire. Does not include installation. They have them in stock

Can you get them to quote you the price for the tire installed? The $145 is better then the other two quotes above. I wonder if those include installation?

Can’t remember if he said $345 or $365 for 2 tires installed. Then I asked him for the price of a single tire Unmounted and it was $145. Check tires.com and they direct you to a local discount tire.

I paid $189.25 per tire mounted and balanced, not installed last fall. It would appear supply chain issues as driven the price up like everything else these days.

Don't forget, the price of everything just increased by 10%.
I now only go to Discount Tire even though there's none in my city.
Clean shops, friendly managers, and installers who seem like college kids on vacation rather than guys one step from homeless.
They often find a deal, or discount something. Great store.

Just checked with our local Discount Tire store. I am going to replace my Carlisle Radial Trail HD, 225/72/15, LRE tires. Quote was under $170 per tire mounted, balanced and installed. I put a set of these on about 5 years ago, have about 22K miles on them and they still look great. They hold air too, which is rather important. I might try to get one more year out of them but the wife is thinking otherwise.

I bought Endurance tires from Tire Rack in the same size for $144.99. It took three months to get them due to back orders, but they did finally arrive.

I just purchased 4 new GY Endurance tires 225/75/15 E rated at my local repair shop. $126 each plus tax. I will pay for the mounting and balancing at a later date as I am currently working on refurbishing the rims. It took two weeks to order them in. They were produced the 50th week of 2021. My shop told me the price will continue to go up due to oil price, supply chain, etc... I ordered them now so I would have them when I needed them.

I have the TPMS so it's easy to check pressure. My Endurance tires can sit unused for months and not lose more than a pound or two of air.
I never need to air up during trips.
