Fresh water tank drain valve
The fresh water tank drain valve on my 1998 Excella is located behind the front curbside wheel and is a little unhandy to operate, especially when the valve handle gets tight. Today I raised the front end of the trailer to a point where I could have easier access to the valve handle. (be certain to block the trailer wheels to prevent rolling!) I then laid on the ground and using a small diameter piece of tubing, reached in and placed the tubing over the plastic handle and carefully rotated the handle toward the front of the trailer, to close the valve. I then squirted a small amount of canola oil cooking spray up into the drain nozzle and rotated the handle a couple of times with the tube. Voila! Opens and closes with my hand very nicely. I'm anxious to see how long this will take care of the problem.
