Faulty propane leak detector (?)

I have my AS housed in a detached garage with hookups. On 3 separate occasions I have found the light red and the alarm going off whenI go out to the AS in the morning. The propane is completely turned off to the unit. I bought a back up plug in detector to also monitor for leaks. It has yet to detect the presence of any propane inside. I reset the detector which blinks red a few times and goes back to green light. 2016 Signature 27FBQ. Any thoughts?

Thanks

Dust can cause false alarms. Use a vacuum cleaner or canned air to blow out the detector area.

Also, the detectors have a finite life. Yours should still be good but you may be experiencing an "infant mortality" failure.
