Ahoy fellow Campers
Many of the things that now come standard on our Airstreams were first offered as options, then became standard on the flagship line, eventually making their way to the standard list of features.
There are a number of options that, had they been available, we would have paid for when we special ordered our Airstream. I suspect that there is a lot of money customers would give to Airstream if given the option to spend it.
To be clear, I'm NOT talking about "Design", "Workmanship" or "Quality Control" (that thread already exists). I'm just asking what special order options YOU would actually pay for if they were available.
We have a 2018 Flying Cloud with Dual AC, Solar and the Awning Package. We would have also paid extra for:
AGM Batteries
16" Wheels
Disc Brakes
Tankless (on demand) Water Heater
Non-Wood-Based Subfloor
Stainless Steel Package (upgrade from plastic to SS exterior parts)
Maybe Airstream will notice an emerging pattern, and some of these things will become options.
What would you pay extra for? Also, chime in if you wouldn't pay for any extra options, more responses make a more thorough survey.
