The factory warranty is transferrable BUT it does not cover the appliances according to a fellow forum poster, GettinAway.
He purchased a "used" 2020 GT that never left the dealer's lot (owner backed out of the deal for a 27' FC with rear hatch). On their way home the fridge wouldn't start and they called Jackson Center but was told "sorry, but they can't help because the three year warranty only applies to the original owner for appliances ".
How much do they want for the extended warranty and is it from Airstream or a third party? You can either bank the cash and roll the dice or offer them half and negotiate from there.
By the way, someone on the forum said to press the reset button which cleared the error and the fridge started. Read the thread here (post #7):
