Duo Therm Penguin does not run
Our roof unit will not run at all. No compressor sound or fan. It has not been on for a couple of months but without warning will not work. The thermostat will run the furnace.
Maybe it is toast. I think it is original on our 1999 Classic. We are full-timers so the last 3-4 years it has worked well except we had to have the fan motor replaced.

If your unit has a switch that controls the AC and the Microwave check it to see which way the switch is selected. If the Microwave lights you have power to the switch and just changing the switch position should apply power to the AC.
If not power to the microwave check the circuit breaker panel for a tripped breaker.
If you can't verify power that way and you are not able to use a volt meter you will have to have someone check for power at the unit itself.

Everything works but the unit. Where would you put a voltage checker on this unit..inside or out on the roof?

If operated from low voltage, like at a park with old wiring, the breaker will trip.
